The current debate about school re-organisation proposals in Northumberland is an important one. Until February 2005, the only voices that seemed to be heard on this crucial matter have been from supporters of the current 3-tier school system.

This website is the start of a movement to support a change in the way schools in Northumberland are organised. Up to now the majority of school leaders, governors and parents have largely remained quiet about their views and feelings. Consequently the elected members of Northumberland County Council, who will ultimately have to reach a decision that will affect the lives of many thousands of people within the county, are being faced with a highly orchestrated attack from the 3-tier pressure groups.

Unlike them; we do not want any of your money and we do not intend putting up candidates for election to the council. We just want our voices to be heard.

Our purpose is simple.  We provide a forum for those who encourage change to happen for the long term good of education in Northumberland. The County Council can then hear a BALANCED view.
